Laurie Thompson

Laurie has been working as a RDA since graduating from UMA in 2005.  Upon graduation she decided to work as a temp to see how different offices worked and decided Wiscasset Dental was the place for her in November 2006.  In 2009 she completed the Expanded Function Dental Assisting program to help provide better care for her patients.  She currently lives in Pittstion with her two children, Kayla and Cory.  She really enjoys providing dental care to the people of Maine.

I am the newest member of the Wiscasset Dental family since receiving my Associates Degree of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of New England in May 2010.  I am very passionate about oral health and caring for my patients dental needs.  When you are in my chair, you are my number one priority and I want to make you feel as comfortable as possible.  I am here for you!

I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dog, Chesney as well as my great family and friends.  Some of my favorite past times include baking and cake decorating, anything crafty, and spending time outdoors.  I look forward to working with you and making your dental experience the best it can be.
