Dental Assistant

I have worked in the dental field for fourteen years, the last two with Dr. Stevenson at Wiscasset Dental.  I grew up in the Midcoast region and have lived here all of my life.  I have always been fascinated with dentistry, especially cosmetic dentistry and changing the way a person feels about their smile.

I realize that there can be some apprehension when it comes to pursuing necessary dental treatment.  I enjoy easing those doubts by trying to make sure that every patient experiences a positive, relaxing and comfortable visit.

I hold my radiology license in the State of Maine as well as a certification in dental assisting.  I am in the process of continuing my education by attending classes to become a Expanded Function Dental Assistant.  This will allow me to place and finish dental restorations, while also being able to perform many of the same duties as a dental hygienist.

Outside of work, my happiness is centered around raising my three children, spending time with family and friends, camping, kayaking, going to the beach and just having fun!  I look forward to meeting you at Wiscasset Dental.
